Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the PourFinder pre-launch website at pourfinder.co.uk. By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. The full PourFinder app is not open yet. When it launches it will have its own separate terms, and those will govern accounts, check-ins and everything else the app does.
1. Who runs this site
PourFinder is operated by PourFinder Ltd, company number 17453732, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, registered in England and Wales.
2. What this site is for
Right now the site is an information and interest registration service. It tells you what PourFinder will do and lets you register your interest before launch. It does not sell anything, it does not take payment, and it is not the app. Anything on the site about future features is a description of what we plan to build, not a promise that it exists today.
3. You must be 18 or over
PourFinder is about alcohol, so this site is for adults only. By registering your interest you confirm that you are 18 or over. If you are not, please do not submit your details.
4. Acceptable use
Please use the site honestly and lawfully. Our Acceptable Use Policy sets out what that means in practice, and forms part of these terms.
5. Our brand and content
The PourFinder name, logo, design and the words and images we publish on this site belong to us or are used under licence. Please do not copy or reuse them without our permission.
6. Third party names and artwork
Where the site shows brewery names, beer names, logos or label artwork that belong to other people, those remain the property of their owners. We show them only to help people identify and recognise beers and venues, not to suggest any endorsement or partnership.
If you are a rights holder and you want your name or artwork removed or corrected, email enquiries@pourfinder.co.uk with the subject “Rights holder request”. Tell us what to remove and confirm you hold the rights, and we will take it down promptly.
7. No reliance, and pre-launch accuracy
We keep the site as accurate as we reasonably can, but it describes a product we are still building. Dates, features and details may change, and we may launch later than planned or change our plans. Please do not make decisions in reliance on the site being complete or final.
8. Our responsibility to you
We provide the site with reasonable care and skill. We do not promise it will always be available or completely free of errors.
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for anything else that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms affects your rights as a consumer.
Beyond that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for losses that arise because you used the site in a way we did not intend.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site develops. If we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version. This is version 2.0 (pre-launch site).
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
