Discovering breweries, beers, places and events that would otherwise have passed them by.
About Pourfinder
Bringing craft beer together.
Finding great craft beer should not depend on already knowing where to look. Pourfinder brings the breweries, the venues and the drinkers into one place built for all three.

Why it exists
Bringing craft beer together.
Finding great craft beer should not depend on already knowing where to look.
A brewery announces a new release. A taproom plans an event. A bottle shop puts something special on the shelf. Too often those moments land in different places, competing for attention with everything else, and they are gone by the time the person who would have loved them scrolls past.
Pourfinder brings breweries, venues and drinkers together in one dedicated craft beer experience.
More opportunities to be discovered, to build a following, and to turn that interest into a visit.
One accurate record, owned by the people who made it and confirmed by the people pouring it.
Three sides of the craft beer community. One place to bring them together.
How we work
Four things we have decided, and will be held to.
Say what is true, including when it is unhelpful
A venue has confirmed a beer, or it has not. An integration is proved, or it is a plan. A price has conditions, and the conditions are published next to the price rather than three clicks away. We lose the occasional sale this way and we keep the thing that is worth more.
Accuracy should not be behind a paywall
A brewery can claim its record and correct its own beer information for nothing, for good. A venue gets a free factual listing. Charging a business to stop the internet being wrong about it would be a poor way to start a relationship.
A business keeps control of its own information
Connecting your software is not permission to publish your customers. Your stockists, your trading information and your lists are private unless you choose otherwise, beer by beer, reversibly.
Small enough to answer the phone
The person who answers your question is the person who can change the thing you are asking about. Pourfinder is run by one person — we would rather say so than dress it up as a team, and it is the reason a sensible request does not need three departments to agree with it.
Where we are up to
Pre-launch, and saying so.
That is the window we are working to, not a guaranteed date. We would rather arrive with something finished.
Pourfinder is not open to the public yet and is not in the app stores. Breweries and venues can talk to us now, see the product, agree terms and be ready for the day it opens — and nothing is collected before launch and before the service is actually switched on.
Where something is built and proved, this website says so. Where it is coming, it says that instead. The integrations page is the clearest example: it lists what has actually been connected and what has not, including the things we cannot do.

Want to be part of it?
If you run a brewery or a venue, the most useful thing you can do is tell us so. The catalogue gets better every time somebody who actually knows corrects it.
