For pubs, taprooms, bars and bottle shops

Somebody is looking for
a beer you have on.

They do not know your name yet. They know what they want to drink, and roughly where they are. Pourfinder makes your venue the answer to that search — and gives the people who already like you a reason to come back.

What you get out of it

Reasons a venue joins.

Six of them, in the order they tend to matter. We cannot promise you customers, sales or footfall, and we do not. What we can do is make your beer, your venue and your events findable by people who are looking for them.

Be found through the beer, not just the name

Most people looking for somewhere new are not searching for your pub. They are searching for a style, a brewery, or just somewhere decent nearby. A venue with its beer list published is an answer to all three.

Say what you actually have on

Confirm the cask, the keg, the fridge, the shelf. Drinkers see what you have and when you last confirmed it, so a list that is kept current is visibly worth more than one that is not.

Sold out means sold out

Marking a beer off is as useful as putting one on. Nobody arrives for something that went two days ago, and your list keeps the credibility that makes the next person trust it.

Put your events in front of the right people

A tap takeover, a tasting, a meet-the-brewer night. Reach your own followers and people browsing what is on locally or following the brewery you are featuring.

Give people a reason to come back

Drinkers follow venues they like and hear when something lands. That is the difference between a visit and a regular.

Run an offer only if it suits you

Offers are a tool, not a condition of joining. Use one to move stock or fill a quiet session. You are the promoter: you set the products, the dates and the conditions, your team applies it at your own till, and the sale is yours. Pourfinder does not change your prices, fund the offer or take the payment — and every condition that matters is shown to a drinker before they act on it.

A delivery lands at four o'clock

From your cellar to somebody's evening.

This is the whole loop, and it is about ninety seconds of your time.

Free and paid

A free listing is a real listing.

Being in Pourfinder accurately costs nothing. The subscription is for publishing and managing your beer, and for the marketing tools around it.

Free for every eligible venue

No subscription. Not withdrawn if you never take one.

  • An accurate factual listing for your venue in the Pourfinder directory and in ordinary search — with no paid placement bias, in either direction.
  • Your core business information: address, contact details, opening hours and how to find you.
  • A cover image and photographs for your venue.
  • Claim your venue, prove you are authorised, and correct anything we have wrong — or have it removed. That route stays open whether you ever subscribe or not.

With a subscription

What the money is actually for.

  • Publish and manage your current beer range and tap list — the cask, the keg, the fridge, the shelf — so people searching for a beer find your venue.
  • Author your stock by hand, or bring it in through supported imports and till or POS connections, according to the agreed service schedule.
  • Events: tastings, tap takeovers, meet-the-brewer nights.
  • Offers, when they suit your business. They are a tool, not a condition of joining.
  • Reach your followers, and advanced analytics on what people respond to.

The itemised feature-by-feature schedule is confirmed in your service schedule before any subscription starts, and parts of it are still being finished. If something here matters to you, ask us and we will tell you where it actually stands rather than where we hope it will be.

What it costs

Two rates, and which one you get.

Base prices per venue. The founder rate is a genuine early-commitment price, not a countdown clock — the places are allocated when an agreement is accepted, and we can tell you where that stands.

Founder rate

£14.99per month

or £160 a year, paid twelve months in advance

The first 500 venues to accept a Pourfinder subscription agreement, including before launch.

That base price is held for your first 12 months of paid service, counted from your first billable service period. The standard rate applies after that. A free listing, an enquiry or an unsigned offer does not use up one of the 500 places.

Standard rate

£24.99per month

or £270 a year, paid twelve months in advance

Venues joining after the first 500, and after founder-rate protection ends.

The same service. Monthly rolls with 30 days’ notice; annual runs for twelve prepaid months from the day your paid service is switched on.

The terms that go with those figures

  • All prices are base prices per business. Pourfinder Ltd is not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. If we register, VAT becomes due from the legal date and is added to the base price, which does not change.
  • Annual prices are flat prepaid amounts for twelve months, not a percentage discount on the monthly rate.
  • Nothing is collected before Pourfinder launches publicly and before your paid service is actually activated. Signing an agreement or setting up a Direct Debit mandate is not a charge.
  • Monthly subscriptions run the calendar month and are collected on the 1st, with a separately worked-out part-month for the period between your service starting and the first full month. They roll, and are cancellable with 30 days’ notice.
  • An annual subscription runs for twelve months from the day your paid service is actually switched on — not from the day you enquire, sign or set up a mandate. We send a reminder 45 days before renewal giving the exact renewal date, the deadline for not renewing, the price and how to cancel.

Before you ask

The questions venues actually ask.

Is there a free option?

Yes, and it is a real one. Every eligible venue gets a free factual profile: your business information, contact details, opening hours, imagery and basic check-in analytics — plus the right to claim the record, correct anything we have wrong, or have it removed. That stays open whether you ever subscribe or not. Publishing and managing your live beer range, and the marketing toolset around it, is what the subscription is for.

How much work is it to keep the beer list current?

That depends on how you already work, which is why we ask. Some venues update by hand in a couple of minutes; some have a stock system or till we can take an import from. We go through your actual process during onboarding and tell you honestly what is supported and what is manual.

Do I have to run discounts?

No. Offers are optional and always have been. You can use Pourfinder entirely for being found, keeping your list current, your events and your followers.

What does "confirmed by the venue" mean?

It means you said so, and we show when. A brewery telling us it delivered to you is a different and weaker signal, and it is never shown as though you had confirmed it. Your word about your own bar always wins.

We are a brewery with a taproom. Which one are we?

Both, and you only need one conversation. One ownership-verified brewery-owned venue comes with a paid brewery subscription at the full paid venue level — no separate venue charge, no second Direct Debit, and it does not use up one of the 500 founder venue places. Further venues are on the ordinary venue tariff. Tell us on the form and we will sort it out.

When can we actually start?

We are pre-launch, working to a target launch window of Q1 2027. You can talk to us, agree terms and be ready now. Nothing is collected before launch and before your paid service is actually switched on.

Start a conversation

Bring your venue to Pourfinder.

Tell us who you are and we will take it from there. We aim to reply to an ordinary enquiry within three working days.

  1. You send an enquiry, or email us directly. Nothing is committed.
  2. We show you the product, go through what it costs and answer the awkward questions properly.
  3. If it suits you, we agree terms and get your venue ready — and nothing is collected until launch and until your service is actually switched on.
